Health and Social Care Alliance Grants

MENSELF + is proud to be one of 23 projects across Scotland awarded a share of nearly £2.2 million to help empower people to live well and take control of their health and wellbeing.

The Self Management Fund, administered by the Health and Social Care Alliance (the ALLIANCE), announced the grants today for organisations supporting people living with long‑term conditions, disabled people and unpaid carers.

Our Award

MENSELF + has been awarded £15,000 over one year to deliver a self‑management programme for people living with long‑term health conditions. The programme will be delivered at:

Parkhead Hub 1251 Duke Street, Parkhead, Glasgow, G31 5NZ Every Thursday, 12.30–3.30 p.m.

The programme aims to increase people’s knowledge, confidence and practical strategies to help them self‑manage their conditions more effectively and improve their quality of life.

Projects across Scotland have received one‑to‑three‑year funding to deliver initiatives that support people with long‑term conditions, disabled people and unpaid carers. This latest round focuses on early support, levelling up population health, and helping people who are currently on waiting lists.

Self‑management is a way of living and working that enables people with long‑term conditions to feel more in control of their own health and wellbeing. It supports people to live better, on their own terms.
